Sentinal Care Alliance provides structured Nurture Placements designed to support individuals who require safe, stabilising environments during periods of crisis, transition or increased need.

Our placements offer an alternative to more restrictive or institutional settings, providing structured support within a safe, carefully managed environment.

What Are Nurture Placements?

Nurture Placements are short- to medium-term placements designed to provide:

• A safe and stable environment
• Immediate support during periods of risk or uncertainty
• Reduced escalation and crisis
• Structured, consistent care and supervision

All placements are coordinated and supported by Sentinal Care Alliance to ensure safety, suitability and effective outcomes.

Who We Support

Our Nurture Placement service supports a range of individuals requiring different types of intervention, including:

Children and Young People

• Unaccompanied minors
• Young people requiring emergency placement
• Individuals at risk of placement breakdown
• Young people requiring additional support outside of traditional settings

Adults Requiring Stabilisation Support

• Individuals experiencing mental health crisis
• Individuals requiring step-down support following hospital discharge
• Adults at risk of escalation without structured support

Women and Families

• Women and families experiencing domestic violence
• Individuals requiring safe, immediate placement
• Families in need of stabilisation and support

Care Leavers and Transitional Support

• Young people transitioning from care
• Individuals requiring structured support to move towards independence
• Care leavers needing safe, supported environments

We work in partnership with local authorities, professionals and families to ensure that placements are safe, appropriate and aligned with individual needs.

All Nurture Placements include:

• Ongoing oversight from Sentinal Care Alliance
• Structured care planning and risk management
• Regular review and monitoring
• Support from trained staff and professionals
• Coordination with health, social care and safeguarding partners
